Job summary

Family Dental Care of Rogers is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team. You will greet patients at the start of their dental journey, review health histories, and support clinicians with a wide range of procedures using Dentrix for scheduling and records.

You will also take x-rays and other diagnostics, maintain safety protocols per OSHA & CDC guidelines, and help manage supplies while collaborating with the Heartland Dental network for smooth office workflow.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in fast-paced customer-facing environments.
• HIPAA training and patient privacy awareness.

Responsibilities

• Greet and educate patients from the start of treatment.
• Review health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide four-handed chairside assistance to dentists.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment room with OSHA & CDC safety protocols.
• Manage supply and inventory; place orders as needed.
• Partner with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize workflow.
