Dental Care at Seminole Ridge, part of Heartland Dental, is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team in Loxahatchee Groves, FL. Shifts include Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri 12:00pm–6:00pm and Wed 8:00am–6:00pm.

You will greet patients, assist dentists with four-handed dentistry, take X‑rays, and help manage Dentrix while maintaining safety and PHI protections. The successful candidate will contribute to a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient care and ongoing learning, with opportunities to

Competenze

Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification as required by state.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
HIPAA training and PHI protection awareness.

Mansioni

Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey, sustain patient comfort and provide education throughout treatment.
Review patient health history to provide quality care.
Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) to dentists during procedures per state practice act.
Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
Prepare treatment rooms with safety protocols per OSHA & CDC recommendations.
Manage supplies and place or expedite orders as needed.
Partner with providers and team to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize workflow.
