Forum Dental - St. Robert is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team, with Heartland Dental supporting the office.

The role involves welcoming patients, reviewing health histories, taking and processing x-rays, and providing four-handed chairside assistance during a variety of procedures. You will use Dentrix for scheduling, maintain room readiness, and monitor supplies, all while adhering to safety protocols and HIPAA requirements.

Qualifications

• 3 months' hands-on experience with basics: chief complaint, x-rays, assisting with fillings and extractions.
• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and educate patients throughout treatment.
• Review health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostics (iTero, digital photos).
• Provide four-handed chairside assistance to dentists.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and records.
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols and OSHA/CDC guidelines.
• Monitor supplies and place orders as needed.
• Collaborate with providers to maximize office workflow.
