Brookdale Senior Living in Lake Charles, LA is seeking a Memory Care Program Coordinator (Finance) to design and coordinate person-centered dementia programs across the Clare Bridge memory care community.

This role collaborates with clinical partners, manages a monthly calendar, and ensures programs meet Brookdale standards. The position includes salary ranges and comprehensive benefits for eligible associates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in therapeutic recreation, gerontology, education or related field preferred.
• Minimum two years of direct programming experience with older adults and persons with dementia preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a current 3-year driving abstract with no more than one moving violation.

Responsibilities

• Designs a weekly dementia-friendly program calendar and 7-day plan.
• Develops monthly resident calendars based on shared interests.
• Ensures programs comply with BEST standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborates with leadership to educate families and associates about Alzheimer's/dementias.
• May supervise Clare Bridge Program Assistants and assist with hiring and coaching.
• Plans and participates in community events and external engagements.
