Job summary

BDO USA is seeking an ISS Deltek Practice Director to maintain client relationships and lead Deltek Costpoint implementations for clients in government contracting and nonprofit sectors. You will oversee staff from Associates to Senior Managers and coordinate with clients to deliver complex technology solutions.

The role requires deep ERP and regulatory knowledge, strong project leadership, and the ability to grow the practice through process improvements and new business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or another relevant field; required
• Advanced degree, preferred
• Ten or more years of relevant experience including accounting & system-focused knowledge
• Familiarity with ERP and technology implementation best practices
• Experience with Government contracting, nonprofit, and other highly regulated industries; preferred
• History of managing people, projects, and process improvement

Responsibilities

• Architects and leads implementations for Deltek Costpoint and other core offerings
• Manages technology integrations through project management, and when required, with specific Deltek knowledge
• Using the BDO framework, assumes responsibility for projects’ phases and works directly with clients to accomplish project objectives
• Project management of implementation engagement(s), independently and collaboratively, for core Deltek offerings
• Interprets corporate & entity-level (Federal, non-profit, etc.) compliance as it relates to Deltek & other technology
• Reviews and develops policies and procedures related to accounting, contracts, and pricing for the client initiatives to secure new business, including but not limited to participating in Business Development meetings, developing relationships with clients and networking activities
• Demonstrates initiative to grow the practice through client expansion and process improvement(s)
• Other duties as required
