Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Director-level professional to lead the Deltek Costpoint practice, maintain client relationships, and oversee staff from Associates to Senior Managers. You will implement Deltek and related products for clients in government contracting and nonprofit sectors.

The role requires extensive experience with ERP implementations, strong accounting knowledge, and the ability to manage project teams and client expectations within a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of relevant experience including accounting & system-focused knowledge.
• Familiarly with ERP & technology implementation best practices.
• Prior experience with Government contracting, nonprofit, and other highly regulated industries; preferred and highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Architects & leads implementations for Deltek Costpoint and other core offerings.
• Manages various technology integrations through project management, and when required, with specific Deltek knowledge.
• Using the BDO framework, assumes responsibility for projects’ phases and works directly with clients to accomplish project objectives.
• Project management of implementation engagement(s), independently and collaboratively, for core Deltek offerings.
• Interprets corporate & entity-level (Federal, non-profit, etc.) compliance as it relates to Deltek & other technology.
• Reviews and develops policies and procedures related to accounting, contracts, and pricing for the client initiatives to secure new business, including but not limited to participating in Business Development meetings, developing relationships with clients and networking activities.
