Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Deltek Practice Director to lead the Deltek Costpoint implementation effort for clients in government contracting and nonprofit sectors. You will maintain client relationships, oversee staff from Associates to Senior Managers, and ensure projects meet objectives using the BDO framework.

The role requires extensive ERP/Deltek experience, strong leadership, and the ability to drive business development while ensuring compliance with government regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field; required
• Advanced degree preferred
• Ten+ years of relevant experience including accounting & system-focused knowledge; required
• Familiarity with ERP & technology implementation best practices; required
• Prior experience with Government contracting, nonprofit, and highly regulated industries; preferred
• History of managing people, projects, and process improvement; required

Responsibilities

• Architects and leads implementations for Deltek Costpoint and core offerings
• Manages technology integrations through project management
• Oversees projects' phases with clients to achieve objectives
• Project management of implementation engagements for Deltek offerings
• Interprets compliance related to Deltek & technology (FAR, CAS, GSA)
• Reviews and develops policies for accounting, contracts, pricing; supports business development
• Grow the practice through client expansion and process improvements
• Other duties as required
