Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Sr. Station Leader to lead a delivery station in the U.S. with responsibility for safety, quality, and performance. You will coach Ops, Area and Shift Managers, drive lean initiatives, and secure resources with cross-functional partners to meet performance goals.

The role requires 7+ years of management in logistics, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to lead a 24/7 operation with multiple DSPs.MBA or engineering/ops degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 7+ years of direct management experience in logistics or distribution.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering performance and financial results.
• Experience with performance metrics and lean techniques.
• Experience staffing across salaried, hourly and agency workers.
• Strong analytical skills with data-driven problem solving.
• Excellent communication in English; local language helpful.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety, quality, performance, customer experience and people development for delivery station operations.
• Set and drive the vision, and create quality and lean initiatives to meet business plans.
• Close gaps between performance and goals through problem-solving.
• Define expectations for Ops Managers; measure and coach performance.
• Manage 24/7 station operations and relationships with DSPs.
• Present operational metrics to senior leadership.
• Hire and develop talent; implement a comprehensive talent plan.
• Leverage teams to generate improvement plans and best practices across departments.
• Cultivate a strong culture and engagement across the site.
• Collaborate with partners to secure resources for projects and initiatives.
