Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC seeks an experienced Sr. Station Leader to drive budgetary, people development and operations objectives for a delivery station.

You will lead a team of Operations, Area and Shift Managers, coaching them to meet performance targets and build leadership bench strength across the DS. You will partner with DSPs and internal teams to deliver on safety, quality, and customer experience, while implementing lean initiatives and driving talent planning, engagement and succession.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 7+ years’ direct management experience across salaried, hourly, and agency workforce.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering performance and financial results under pressure.
• Experience with performance metrics, process improvement and lean techniques.
• Experience with full lifecycle staffing (interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions, terminations).
• Strong analytical capability; ability to dig into data and solve operational problems.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
• Experience managing third-party resources regionally/nationally and contingent workforce.
• Flexible to work various hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety, quality, performance, customer experience and people development for all delivery station operations.
• Lead station vision, initiate quality and lean initiatives to meet/exceed business plans.
• Address performance gaps and hold managers accountable for team results.
• Set clear requirements and expectations for Operations, Area and Shift Managers; measure performance and provide feedback.
• Manage 24/7 delivery station operations and relationships with DSPs.
• Present operational metrics to senior leadership and develop talent plans across the site.
• Collaborate with partners to secure resources and drive improvement initiatives across the DS.
