Job summary

Amazon in Downers Grove, IL is hiring a Delivery Station Customer Service Associate to provide in-person and remote support, help customers with delivery questions, and connect them with experts for accurate package information.

You will stand for up to 12 hours, lift up to 49 pounds, and work a full-time schedule while upholding company values and ensuring on-time deliveries and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in Customer Service and in using computers.
• Ability to prioritize time and work in dynamic environments.
• Familiarity with multiple web browsers and search tools.
• Understanding performance metrics and KPI tracking.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience on a brand ambassador team for a consumer brand.

Responsibilities

• Communicating with customers directly in-person, in addition to communicating via phone and email.
• Empathizing with and prioritizing customer needs.
• Upholding company values and respecting every customer.
• Resolving issues and setting appropriate expectations with customers.
• Clearly understanding and responding appropriately to the issues that customers present.
• Composing grammatically correct, concise, and accurate written responses.
• Approaching problems logically and with good judgment to ensure the appropriate customer outcome.
• Making quick and effective decisions on behalf of the customer.
• Working a flexible Full-Time (40+ hours per week) schedule.
