Job summary

You will manage labor hours, schedules, and asset utilization, enforce DOT/OSHA standards, and collaborate with Sales and Marketing to resolve customer issues. This role requires leadership and strong communication in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 2- or 4-year college degree in Business Management or Supply Chain preferred.
• 1–3 years related experience and/or training.
• Defensive driving certification (Sysco approved); HazMat preferred; Class A CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the daily work and safety of Delivery Associates, including adherence to SOPs and routes.
• Ensures regulatory compliance with local, state and federal agencies (DOT, OSHA) and accurate electronic logs.
• Manages labor hours and consumables within budget; prepares work schedules and shifts.
• Oversees asset use and coordinates repairs; reviews productivity and reports.
• Interacts with Sales/Marketing to address customer issues and improve delivery.
• Maintains communication with associates and ensures safety training.
• Coordinates with Safety department for trainings and inspections.
• Performs staff selection, development, discipline, and performance reviews.
