Job summary

Sysco is seeking an Operations Supervisor for Delivery to oversee daily delivery activities, staff supervision, and safety compliance. The role emphasizes adherence to SOPs, regulatory requirements, and efficient customer service in a dynamic logistics environment.

Responsibilities include scheduling, budgeting for labor and supplies, coordinating with maintenance and safety teams, and leading continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 2- or 4-year college degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or similar preferred.
• 1-3 years related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the daily work and safety of Delivery Associates and ensures adherence to SOPs and planned routes.
• Ensures compliance with local, state and federal regulations (e.g., DOT, OSHA) and accurate electronic logs.
• Manages labor hours and supplies within budget; prepares work schedules and shifts.
• Oversees asset usage and coordinates repairs with appropriate departments.
• Reviews delivery functions and productivity reporting; proposes efficiency improvements and cost reductions.
• Maintains communication with Sales Management and Marketing associates to resolve customer issues.
