Job summary

Sysco in Kansas is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee the Delivery team, ensure safe, compliant routes, and provide efficient customer service. You will guide staff, enforce SOPs, and monitor performance to optimize throughput.

You will also coordinate schedules, labor hours, and budgeted supplies while collaborating with Safety, Sales, and Marketing to resolve issues and implement improvements. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related experience optional.
• 2- or 4-year degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, or similar preferred.
• 1–3 years related experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily work and safety of Delivery Associates and ensure SOP adherence.
• Manage labor hours and supplies within budget; prepare work schedules.
• Coordinate with Safety dept on training, inspections, and incident investigations.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (DOT, OSHA) and proper records.
• Communicate with Sales/Marketing to resolve delivery issues and improve service.
