Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC is seeking a Delivery Operations Supervisor to oversee the delivery team and ensure safe, efficient customer service. You will supervise daily activities, enforce SOPs, and coordinate with Sales and Marketing to resolve customer and delivery issues.

The role requires adherence to federal regulations (DOT/OSHA), strong leadership, and effective communication. Expect to manage schedules, labor hours, and asset utilization while maintaining safety standards and cost control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 2- or 4-year college degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or similar major preferred.
• 1-3 years related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the daily work and safety of Delivery Associates, including adherence to SOPs and planned routes.
• Ensures Delivery Associate compliance with local, state and federal regulatory agencies (e.g., DOT, OSHA) and maintains current electronic logs.
• Manages labor hours and consumable supplies within budget and prepares work schedules.
• Oversees proper selection and utilization of company assets to support the Delivery department.
• Interprets policies and procedures, including food safety, DOT, and record keeping, and enforces them consistently.
• Communicates with Sales Management and Marketing to address customer or delivery issues and opportunities.
