Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC is seeking an experienced Delivery Operations Manager to direct day-to-day activities, oversee routing and safety, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role involves budget management, KPI tracking, and collaboration with Sales and Marketing to address customer opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required and related leadership experience in delivery operations.
7 years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
Valid Class A CDL and related regulatory certifications (HazMat, Doubles).
Experience with routing/operational software and safety compliance programs.

Responsibilities

Direct the daily work and safety of Delivery supervisors, routing personnel and other associates.
Ensure management staff effectively handles day-to-day delivery activities and maintains SOP adherence.
Maintain compliance with DOT, OSHA and other regulatory agencies; keep electronic logs current.
Direct labor hours, travel, fuel and supplies within budget to maximize efficiency.
Prepare schedules, oversee asset utilization, and coordinate repairs as needed.
Monitor KPI performance and customer satisfaction; adjust activities to meet goals.
