Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC in Las Vegas is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee Delivery staff, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and manage scheduling and budgets. The role involves guiding associates, coordinating with sales/marketing, and driving efficiency in daily delivery operations.

Responsibilities include supervising delivery teams, maintaining DOT/OSHA compliance, and implementing process improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 1–3 years related experience and/or training.
• 2–4 year college degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or similar major preferred.
• HazMat certification preferred; Valid Class A CDL meeting company standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the daily work and safety of Delivery Associates, including SOP adherence and on-time routes.
• Ensures regulatory compliance with DOT, OSHA and related regulations.
• Manages labor hours and consumables within budget.
• Prepares work schedules and shifts as needed.
• Oversees asset utilization and coordination with other departments.
• Reviews delivery functions and productivity reporting.
• Supports cost reduction and efficiency initiatives.
• Enforces company policies and safety protocols.
• Communicates with Sales and Marketing to resolve delivery opportunities.
• Maintains customer relationship through visits and issue resolution.
• Keeps regular open communication with associates and leadership.
• Coordinates safety training and incident investigations with Safety.
• Executes staff selection, development, and performance reviews.
• Performs related duties as needed.
