Job summary

Sysco is seeking an Operations leader to supervise delivery staff, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and manage labor within budget. The role requires coordinating with sales/marketing and visiting customer locations to address delivery challenges.

The ideal candidate will have experience with DOT/OSHA regulations, defensive driving, and Class A CDL preferences, with strong leadership and communication skills to maintain team engagement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 2 or 4-year college degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or similar preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily work and safety of Delivery Associates; ensures SOPs and planned routes.
• Ensures compliance with local, state and federal regulations (DOT, OSHA) and accurate electronic logs.
• Manages labor hours and consumables within budget; prepares schedules.
• Oversees assets usage and coordinates repairs with relevant departments.
• Interprets and enforces company policies and procedures; communicates with Sales and Marketing teams.
• Visits customer locations to address issues and assess delivery difficulty; maintains regular engagement with associates.
