Job summary

Sysco is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee Delivery Associates, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations across routes and customers. You will manage schedules, budgets, and asset use while coordinating with Safety, Sales, and Marketing teams to resolve delivery issues.

This role requires leadership, strong communication, and problem-solving abilities, with familiarity in DOT/OSHA regulations and SAP-like systems. Excellent English skills and a class A CDL preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 2- or 4-year college degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or similar major preferred.
• 1–3 years related experience and/or training.
• Complete a Sysco approved defensive driving program.
• HazMat certification preferred.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License meeting Company standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the daily work and safety of Delivery Associates, including adherence to SOPs and planned routes.
• Ensures compliance with local, state and federal regulatory agencies (DOT, OSHA, etc.) and maintains accurate logs.
• Manages labor hours and consumable supplies within budget.
• Prepares work schedules including extra work days and shifts as needed.
• Coordinates with Safety department for training, investigations and safety inspections.
• Maintains communication with Sales Management and Marketing Associates to address delivery issues.
• Visits customer locations to address issues and assess delivery difficulty.
