Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee delivery teams, ensuring adherence to SOPs and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include managing schedules, resources, and safety initiatives across the delivery department.

The role requires supervising staff, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining compliance with DOT and OSHA standards while optimizing service quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2- or 4-year degree in Business Management or similar preferred.
• 1–3 years related supervision/delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise delivery associates and ensure SOP adherence.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA and other regs; maintain logs.
• Manage labor hours and consumables within budget.
• Prepare work schedules including extra shifts as needed.
• Coordinate asset usage and maintenance for delivery dept.
• Collaborate with Sales/Marketing to resolve delivery issues with customers.
• Visit customer locations to address issues and assess delivery difficulty.
• Lead department meetings; monitor morale and associate engagement.
• Coordinate with Safety to conduct training, inspections and root-cause analyses.
