Job summary

Sysco Corporation is seeking an Operations supervisor to oversee the Delivery department, ensuring safe and compliant daily operations and driving cost-effective performance across routes. You will lead Delivery Associates, manage schedules, and uphold DOT/OSHA standards while collaborating with Sales and Marketing on customer issues.

Minimum 1–3 years in delivery supervision or related roles, plus a high school diploma or GED; a 2–4 year degree and defensive driving with HazMat are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 2–4 year college degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or similar major preferred.
• 1–3 years related experience and/or training.
• Complete a Sysco approved defensive driving program.
• HazMat certification preferred.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License meeting Company standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily work and safety of Delivery Associates and ensures safe, efficient customer service.
• Ensures compliance with local, state and federal regulations (DOT, OSHA) and that logs are current.
• Manages labor hours and consumable supplies within budget.
• Prepares work schedules including extra shifts as needed.
• Oversees asset use and coordinates repairs with relevant departments.
