Job summary

Sysco Detroit, LLC is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee Delivery staff, ensuring safe, efficient customer service and adherence to DOT/OSHA regulations. You will manage labor, schedules, asset usage, and submissions of productivity reports while coordinating with Sales and Marketing to resolve delivery issues.

The role requires a High school diploma or GED, with 1–3 years of related experience; a defensive driving program and HazMat certification are favorable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 1-3 years related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the daily work and safety of Delivery Associates, including adherence to SOPs and routes.
• Ensures compliance with local, state and federal regulations (DOT, OSHA).
• Manages labor hours and supplies within budget; prepares work schedules.
• Oversees asset usage and coordinates repairs; reviews productivity reporting.
• Communicates with Sales Management to resolve customer or delivery issues; visits customers to address delivery challenges.
