Job summary

Sysco Louisville is seeking an experienced Operations leader in Delivery to oversee daily execution, safety and efficiency of delivery teams, and ensure adherence to regulations and internal controls.

You will drive KPI attainment, coordinate with Sales and Marketing, manage budgets, schedules, and asset utilization, and lead process improvements to enhance profitability and customer service.

Qualifications

• 7 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) preferred.
• HazMat and Doubles Certification.
• Complete a Sysco approved defensive driving program.

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily work and safety of Delivery supervisors, routing personnel and other associates.
• Ensure management staff oversees day-to-day delivery activities and customer service.
• Monitor regulatory compliance and maintain accurate electronic logs.
• Manage budgets for labor, travel, fuel and supplies to maximize efficiency.
• Coordinate repairs and asset utilization for the delivery department.
• Drive KPI attainment and customer satisfaction goals.
