Job summary

Sysco Metro New York, LLC seeks an Operations supervisor to lead the Delivery team, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient customer service. You will manage daily delivery activities, schedule staff, and coordinate with other departments to optimize routes and performance.

The role requires 1–3 years of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a willingness to follow company policies and safety procedures. The position is based at our Jersey City facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred in Business/ Supply Chain.
• 1–3 years related experience or training.
• Desireable certifications include HazMat and defensive driving.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily delivery operations and safety of Delivery Associates.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA and other regulations.
• Coordinate labor hours and supplies within budget.
• Prepare schedules and manage equipment and asset use.
• Communicate with Sales/Marketing to resolve delivery issues.
