Job summary

The role requires 1–3 years of delivery supervision experience, a high school diploma or GED, and preferred certifications (HazMat, Class A CDL). Occasional travel to other operating locations may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 1–3 years related delivery supervision experience.
• HazMat certification preferred; Defensive driving program completed; Class A CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily delivery activities and safety, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures and customer service standards.
• Manages labor hours and consumables within budget while maintaining productivity.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (DOT, OSHA) and maintains accurate electronic logs.
• Prepares work schedules including extra shifts as needed and coordinates with other departments.
• Oversees asset utilization and coordinates repairs; conducts safety inspections and root-cause investigations when needed.
• Communicates with Sales/Marketing to resolve customer or delivery issues and visits customer locations when required.
