Job summary

Sysco is seeking an experienced Delivery Operations Manager in New York to oversee daily delivery activities, safety, and budget controls. You will manage delivery supervisors, routing staff, and ensure compliance with regulations while driving efficiency and customer satisfaction.

The role demands strong leadership, knowledge of DOT/OSHA standards, and the ability to optimize routes, monitor KPIs, and coordinate with Sales and Marketing to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1–3 years related experience or equivalent
• Two or four year college degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or similar major preferred

Responsibilities

• Manages the daily work and safety of Delivery supervisors, routing personnel and other associates.
• Ensures Delivery Associate adherence to SOPs, planned routes, and safe, efficient customer service.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies (DOT, OSHA) and maintains accurate electronic logs.
• Manages labor hours, travel, fuel and supplies within budget; prepares work schedules.
• Coordinates repairs and utilization of Company assets to support the Delivery department.
• Monitors routing effectiveness to meet KPI and customer satisfaction goals.
