Job summary

Sysco seeks an Operations supervisor to oversee delivery activities, scheduled Tuesday–Saturday from 5:00am to approximately 3:00pm, with CDL requirement. This role directs delivery staff, ensures safety, and enforces company policies while maintaining compliant logs.

Responsibilities include labor and budget management, scheduling, coordinating with Safety, Sales, and Marketing, and addressing customer delivery issues with practical solutions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 2 or 4-year college degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or similar major preferred.
• 1-3 years related experience and/or training.
• Complete a Sysco approved defensive driving program.
• HazMat certification preferred.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License meeting Company standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily delivery staff and safety, ensuring SOPs and routes are followed.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain accurate electronic logs (DOT/OSHA).
• Manage labor hours and consumables within budget.
• Prepare work schedules including extra work days and shifts as needed.
• Coordinate with Safety and other departments on training and incidents.
