Job summary

Mattress Firm is seeking a Logistics & Dispatch Coordinator in Texas to coordinate daily delivery operations, optimize routes, and support dispatch activities for internal and external customers.

You will serve as a key link between warehouse operations, delivery teams, contractors, and customers to ensure timely and efficient delivery schedules. The role requires 1+ years in logistics or related fields with strong communication and organizational abilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in logistics, dispatch, routing, transportation coordination, customer service, or related operational support role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of local geography and delivery operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch daily delivery routes based on capacity and geography.
• Monitor delivery activity and address route exceptions or delays.
• Schedule deliveries and adjust routing plans to maximize efficiency.
• Track missed deliveries, exceptions, and re-delivery requests.
• Prepare delivery manifests and route documentation within deadlines.
• Maintain records to support contractor settlements and performance tracking.
• Communicate route changes and operational priorities to drivers and teams.
