Job summary

Sysco Houston is seeking an Operations position responsible for managing delivery activities, including expense and revenue management, compliance with government regulations, and safety of the delivery department. You will supervise delivery supervisors, routing personnel, and other associates, ensuring SOP adherence, planned routes, and safe customer service.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; 1–3 years related experience or equivalent.
Two or four year college degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or similar major preferred.

Responsibilities

Manages daily work and safety of Delivery supervisors, routing personnel and other associates.
Ensures adherence to SOPs, planned routes and safe, efficient customer service by Delivery Associates.
Ensures regulatory compliance (DOT, OSHA) and up-to-date electronic logs.
Manages labor hours, travel, fuel and supplies within budget; prepares work schedules.
Oversees asset selection, purchase and utilization in support of Delivery; coordinates repairs.
Monitors routing effectiveness; ensures KPI and customer satisfaction goals are met.
Collaborates with Sales and Marketing to address customer issues; visits customers as needed.
Maintains productivity and routing software usage; supports associate engagement and training.
