Job summary

Sysco in California is seeking an Operations Delivery Supervisor to oversee daily delivery activities, supervise staff, and ensure safety and compliance with regulations. You will manage labor hours, schedules, asset use, and coordinate with Sales and Marketing to address customer delivery issues, visiting customer sites as needed.

Requirements include leadership, problem solving, and strong communication to maintain efficient service levels, plus preferred HazMat and valid CDL.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; related experience accepted.
• 2-4 year college degree in Business Management or Supply Chain preferred.
• 1-3 years related experience and/or training.
• Defensive driving certification (Sysco approved) preferred.
• HazMat certification preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL meeting Company standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises delivery staff daily, ensuring safe, efficient customer service.
• Ensures DOT/OSHA compliance and accurate electronic logs.
• Manages labor hours and consumables within budget.
• Prepares schedules with extra work days and shifts as needed.
• Coordinates asset use and works with Safety to conduct inspections.
• Communicates with Sales/Marketing to resolve delivery issues.
