Job summary

Sysco is seeking an Operations leader to direct the Delivery department, overseeing supervisors and routing staff. You will ensure safety, regulatory compliance and efficient customer service while managing budgets and asset utilization.

Responsibilities include daily oversight of delivery activities, KPI tracking, and cross-functional collaboration with Sales and Marketing to resolve issues and improve profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• At least 7 years of related experience or equivalent.
• Valid Class A CDL and defensive driving certification preferred.
• Knowledge of government regulations and safety standards is essential.

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily work and safety of Delivery supervisors, routing personnel and other associates.
• Ensure management staff effectively handles day-to-day delivery activities and SOP adherence.
• Maintain compliance with DOT, OSHA and other regulations; keep electronic logs current.
• Direct labor hours, travel, fuel and supplies within budget to optimize time and costs.
• Prepare schedules, buy and maintain assets for the Delivery department.
• Monitor KPI and customer satisfaction; adjust operations to meet goals.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to resolve delivery opportunities and issues.
