Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation is seeking a candidate to lead moderately complex cross-enterprise implementations of custom products or services that support securing or retaining group customers and responding to regulatory initiatives.

The role serves as the business lead on the implementation, collaborating with business and technology partners to move projects from business case analysis through to implementation in a fast-moving environment.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for leading moderately complex cross enterprise implementations of custom products or services that are critical to securing or retaining group customers, maintaining market relevancy and responding to legislative and regulatory initiatives. This role serves as the business lead on a given implementation and collaborates with business and technology partners to take the project from business case analysis through implementation. Projects in this space are complex, fast moving and critical to business strategy.

Required Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years’ experience in healthcare, business consulting analysis, system implementation or project management
• Comfortable with change and working in a flexible and dynamic work environment.
• Project management skills. Experience managing projects, including strong organization, prioritization and problem-solving skills; ability to accept direction and feedback, experience that involves communicating with stakeholders and problem solving
• Clear and concise written, presentation, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Experience working across various departments with various levels of management handling sensitive or difficult situations as well as developing and delivering formal training to internal and external customers.
• Knowledge of strategic planning techniques and industry trends
• Analytical and information synthesis skills
• Experience interpreting business and financial information
• Verbal and written communication and organization skills
• PC proficiency to include MS Office products
• Experience managing multiple priorities

Preferred/Required Job Qualifications

• Health insurance or healthcare industry experience
• Degree in public health/ heath policy, business, IT systems, engineering, mathematics, business, or other areas of study with a high degree of focus on critical thinking/ problem solving activities.
• Consulting or client/product implementation experience in a large organization.
• Financial, estimating and budget management experience related to projects, implementations, and/or operations.
• Conflict management and resolution skills.
• Knowledge of or experience with the SDLC and/or Agile Methodology
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance industry and current trends related to new products/ networks, as well as new legislation and interaction with government affairs.

Flex employees are expected to be in the office a minimum of three days a week. Management will have discretion to modify an employee's weekly schedule for exigent circumstances.

Base Pay Range $69,800.00 - $125,900.00 Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
