Communication Federal Credit Union is seeking a collections professional to engage borrowers with delinquent accounts and secure payments in line with policy and legal requirements. The role includes communicating by phone, mail, or email and coordinating with leadership on disposition of collateral when needed.

The ideal candidate has strong communication, familiarity with collection regulations, and solid math skills.

Qualifikationen

• Professional written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of collection regulations with ability to read and interpret loan and legal documents.
• Intermediate mathematical requirements (percentages, fractions, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent time management and organization skills; adapt to workflow changes.

Aufgaben

• Locate and notify members with semi-delinquent accounts, arrange payments and promises to pay via phone, mail or email.
• Identify problematic accounts and, with approval, proceed with corrective action; coordinate with repossession if needed.
• Work dedicated queue (call quota of 25 calls/hour) to completion.
• Assist members with insurance claim questions regarding payoffs, gap and warranties; refinance of deficient balances.
