Civic Federal Credit Union is seeking a Collections Specialist to proactively manage delinquent accounts and work with members to resolve payment issues. The role supports the Default Management team and aims to mitigate losses through repayment plans and borrower education.

Ideal candidates will have 1–3 years in consumer loan collections, strong analytical skills, and the ability to operate across multiple systems.

Competenze

• Minimum 1–3 years' experience in consumer loan product collections.
• Understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Ability to analyze tax returns, personal financial statements, and credit reports.

• Contact members regarding loans in default via phone, email, and text.
• Provide support for delinquency and loss management goals.
• Discuss repayment plans, loan modifications, or other solutions to bring accounts current.
• Document all member interactions and actions in the core collection system.
• Maintain knowledge of delinquency trends and loss prevention strategies.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and policies.
