Job summary

Freedom First Credit Union is seeking a Collections professional to manage delinquent accounts and protect assets while maintaining member relationships. You will follow department duties and policies, analyze financial situations, and propose arrangements to bring accounts current.

Additionally, you will assist Retail staff with flagged accounts and perform other duties as assigned. A solid understanding of financial statements and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of collections or related experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficient with Word and Excel; ability to read financial statements.

Responsibilities

• 70% Responsible for the successful completion of assigned duties per the Collections Department duties and current policies.
• 20% Analyze member finances and propose arrangements to bring accounts current.
• 5% Provide support to Retail employees with accounts flagged by Collections.
• 5% Performs other duties as assigned.
