Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in other store areas and customer service experience helpful.
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and analyze basic financial data.
• Experience in mentoring and suggesting sales techniques.
• Ability to lead in a safety-conscious environment and train team members.

Responsibilities

• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Promotes succession planning and identifies development needs.
• Document and apply disciplinary actions and input on promotions.
• Responsible for P&L, achieving sales and controlling shrink.
• Model exceptional, fast and friendly customer service.
• Mentor and coach team members to exceed goals and maintain standards.
• Ensure team is trained in all required job aspects.
• Spend most time in-store communicating with customers and team members.
• Promote a safe work environment and maintain reliable attendance.
