Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in other areas of the store (meat, bakery, produce, deli) beneficial.
• Ability to communicate clear, precise directions to team members.
• Ability to analyze financial and statistical information to inform decisions.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and team members.
• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Promote succession planning and career development for team members.
• Document disciplinary actions and advise on promotions.
• Manage P&L, sales, and shrink targets for the department.
• Mentor and coach team members to meet service and sales goals.
• Ensure thorough training and safety for all staff.
• Maintain strong in-store communication and customer focus.
