This role emphasizes staff development, coaching, and maintaining prime shopping hours to meet customer needs. You bring 2-3 years of retail experience, at least one year in management, and the ability to hire, train and mentor team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Ability to staff, hire, and develop team members.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and supervise deli team in daily store operations.
• Mentor and coach team members; promote customer service.
• Manage staffing, hiring, and training to meet needs.
• Handle P&L, sales, shrink control, and safety compliance.
• Foster Meijer Friendly Initiative in meetings.
• Maintain store appearance during prime hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
