Food Lion in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Deli Bakery HMS Department Supervisor to support store operations and drive financial and sales goals. You will lead the Deli Bakery HMS Associates, manage labor, coach staff, and maintain safety, quality and customer service standards.

This role requires strong communication, merchandising knowledge and adherence to company policies. Responsibilities include scheduling, ensuring proper product presentation, controlling expenses, and upholding food safety

Formación

• High school diploma preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques.
• Effective communication, customer service, and selling skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Must be accredited by the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals or similar accrediting organization as a "Certified Food Safety Manager" or will be required to attend training and achieve accreditation within 90 days.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the Deli Bakery HMS Department in the absence of the Deli Manager.
• Daily management of labor and coaching of associates to meet productivity expectations.
• Provide leadership and motivate staff to reflect Brand Strategy and Culture.
• Support achievement of budgeted financial and operating results.
• Observe and correct unsafe conditions and ensure compliance with regulations.
