Food Lion seeks a motivated Deli HMS Supervisor to support store operations and the deli/bakery department. You will supervise associates, coach performance, and help achieve budgeted goals while delivering friendly, efficient service to customers.

In this role you’ll ensure product quality, adhere to safety standards, and maintain department appearance. The position emphasizes teamwork, communication, and a strong customer mindset in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques preferred.
• Effective communication, customer service, and selling skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Must be accredited by the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals or similar accrediting organization as a 'Certified Food Safety Manager' or complete company training within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Deli Bakery HMS Department in the absence of the Deli Manager and supervise HMS Associates.
• Daily management of labor and coaching of associates to meet productivity targets.
• Provide leadership and promote a culture aligned with Food Lion's Brand Strategy.
• Support achievement of budgeted financial and operating results.
• Maintain enthusiastic customer service and a positive shopping experience.
