Job summary

Food Lion in Frederick, MD is seeking a Deli Bakery HMS Supervisor to support deli operations, supervise associates, and help meet budgeted financial and operating results while delivering fast, friendly customer service.

You will lead by example, manage labor, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, use company tools and reports, and train teammates to maintain a welcoming and efficient deli/bakery area for customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques preferred.
• Effective communication, customer service, and selling skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Must be accredited by the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals or similar accreditation or achieve within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Deli Bakery HMS Department in the absence of the Deli Manager and supervise Deli Bakery HMS Associates.
• Daily management of labor and coaching of associates to meet productivity expectations.
• Provide leadership to promote a culture reflecting the Brand Strategy and Culture.
• Support the achievement of budgeted financial and operating results.
• Maintain a positive shopper experience with fast, friendly customer service.
