Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Deli HMS Supervisor to support store operations, lead a team, and ensure fast, friendly customer service while maintaining quality and safety standards.

You will assist in managing the Deli Bakery HMS department, coaching associates, handling scheduling, and using company tools to meet budgeted goals and drive a positive shopping experience for customers in the GA store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques preferred.
• Effective communication, customer service, and selling skills.
• Accredited by the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals or similar, or achieve accreditation within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Deli Bakery HMS Department in the absence of the Deli Manager.
• Labor management and coaching to achieve productivity expectations.
• Provide leadership to promote a customer-focused culture.
• Support achievement of budgeted financial and operating results.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and department appearance standards.
• Utilize company tools and reports (ACIS, scheduling, CAO, BIS) for daily operations.
• Maintain department appearance and ensure timely ordering, receiving, and setup.
• Comply with policies, training, and local regulations.
