Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques.
• Effective communication, customer service and selling skills.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements for the role.
• Certification as Food Safety Manager or ability to obtain within 90 days; accreditation maintained during employment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Deli Bakery HMS Department in the absence of the Deli Manager.
• Daily management of labor and coaching of associates to meet productivity goals.
• Provide leadership to promote Brand Strategy and Culture.
• Support achievement of budgeted financial and operating results.
• Ensure superb customer service and positive shopping experience.
• Use company tools and reports (ACIS, scheduling, CAO, etc.).
• Maintain department appearance, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Ensure schedules, ordering and display meet policies.
• Observe safety and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor shrink and coaching to prevent losses.
• Adhere to policies, dress code, and maintain security.
• Complete CBT and training courses.
• Meet physical requirements; perform other duties as assigned.
