Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques.
• Effective communication, customer service, and selling skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Must be certified as Food Safety Manager or complete training and achieve accreditation within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Deli Bakery HMS Department in the absence of the Deli Manager.
• Daily management of labor and coaching to achieve productivity.
• Provide leadership to promote a culture aligned with Brand Strategy.
• Support achievement of budgeted financial and operating results.
• Deliver fast, friendly customer service and a positive shopping experience.
• Use company tools such as ACIS, scheduling, ordering, and reports.
• Ensure department appearance, safety, sanitation and compliance.
• Ensure schedules enable extraordinary service and proper ordering.
• Observe safety and regulatory compliance.
• Adhere to all company policies and dress code.
