Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Deli Bakery HMS Supervisor to assist in managing the Deli Bakery HMS Department and support store operations in Charleston, SC. You will lead the team, coach associates, and drive excellent customer service while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
Ability to lead and manage a team.
Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques preferred.
Effective communication, customer service, and selling skills.
Must be accredited by the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals or similar as a "Certified Food Safety Manager" or obtain accreditation within 90 days.

Responsibilities

Manage the Deli Bakery HMS Department in the absence of the Deli Manager.
Daily management of labor and coaching of associates to meet productivity expectations.
Provide leadership to promote Food Lion's culture and brand strategy.
Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation and regulatory requirements.
Maintain department appearance and stock in accordance with company policies.
Monitor inventory and shrink while coaching teams to prevent losses.
