Qualifications

• Must meet minimum age requirements.
• Certified Food Safety Manager or willing to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the Deli Bakery HMS department in the absence of the Deli Manager.
• Daily management of labor and coaching associates to achieve productivity.
• Provide leadership to promote Food Lion's Brand Strategy and Culture.
• Support achievement of budgeted financial and operating results.
• Ensure quality customer service and a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain department appearance, safety, and sanitation.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Assist with scheduling, ordering, and use of business information systems.
• Adhere to company guidelines and security standards.
