Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage the Deli Bakery HMS Department in the absence of the Deli Manager.
• Oversee daily labor and coach associates to meet productivity expectations.
• Provide leadership to promote brand strategy and a strong store culture.
• Support achievement of budgeted financial and operating results.
• Deliver fast, easy, friendly customer service and create a positive shopping experience.
• Model outstanding customer service and use product knowledge to meet customer needs.
• Control expenses through proper ordering, supplies and equipment care.
• Utilize company tools (ACIS, scheduling, CAO, reports) and inventory systems.
• Maintain department appearance, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Write schedules to ensure extraordinary customer service.
• Ensure proper ordering, receiving, prep and display of merchandise.
• Observe and correct unsafe conditions; comply with regulations.
• Record and report accidents; monitor shrink and coach on loss prevention.
• Use advertising and promotional materials appropriately.
• Adhere to guidelines, policies and security standards.
• Maintain professional appearance and dress code.
• Complete CBT, training packets and training aids.
• Meet physical requirements of the position.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
