Job summary

The University of Central Oklahoma seeks a Regular, full-time staff member to evaluate degree requirements, certify graduation eligibility, and communicate status to students and advisors.

You will run degree audit reports in the Banner/Degree Works systems, enter substitutions, review transcripts, and maintain the transcript evaluation system to reflect new course equivalencies and general education changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 6+ years of work experience.
• Experience with registrar functions or advising students on certification.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of degree programs and general education requirements.
• Ability to research and analyze course descriptions and syllabi.

Responsibilities

• Enter substitutions, waivers, and exceptions into the degree audit system.
• Review undergraduate applications for graduation candidacy.
• Determine final eligibility for degree certification after final grades.
• Run degree audit reports and explain results to advisors and students.
• Maintain computerized transcript evaluation system and update course equivalencies.
