Coinbase is a remote-first company focused on increasing economic freedom. The DeFi Borrow team owns the end-to-end product experience for crypto-backed lending, bridging Coinbase's centralized platform with premier onchain protocols to deliver simple, secure loan flows.

You will define the next generation of onchain credit products, enabling customers to access funds without selling investments, even during market volatility. This role emphasizes risk-managed growth and scalable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Product Management experience shipping consumer or prosumer financial products at scale, including lending or collateralized products.
• Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into roadmaps and experiments with measurable growth.
• Familiarity with onchain concepts and DeFi lending protocols to partner with engineers.
• Proven use of quantitative analysis to inform product decisions and simplify complex concepts.
• Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight to improve efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities

• Own the DeFi Borrow product area end-to-end from vision through launch and iteration across web and mobile.
• Drive the multi-year roadmap for crypto-backed loans, including borrow flows and loan management.
• Define OKRs and lead cross-functional teams to deliver against them.
• Partner with Engineering to ship scalable borrowing experiences with safety and reliability.
• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Finance to meet regulatory and controls expectations.
• Build launch runbooks, on-call readiness, and incident playbooks for DeFi Borrow reliability.
