Coinbase is seeking a Product Manager to lead the DeFi Borrow product area end-to-end, defining strategy and delivering a scalable, secure loan experience across web and mobile. You will partner with Engineering to ship resilient borrowing flows and work with Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Finance to maintain strong controls while serving customers.

The role emphasizes multi-quarter planning, quantitative decision-making, and responsible use of AI to improve workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Product Management shipping consumer or pro‑sumer financial products at scale.
• Experience with lending/credit/collateralized products (e.g., margin, secured loans, DeFi borrowing).
• Ability to define multi-quarter strategy, translate into roadmaps and experiments, and deliver growth/portfolio-health results.
• Familiarity with onchain concepts, smart contracts, and DeFi lending protocols to partner with engineers.
• Uses quantitative analysis to inform decisions and simplify complex concepts for customers.
• Utilizes generative AI with human oversight to improve workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.

Responsabilités

• Own the DeFi Borrow product area end-to-end from vision to execution and ongoing iteration across web and mobile.
• Drive the multi-year roadmap for crypto-backed loans including loan origination, management, refinancing, and new surfaces.
• Define OKRs across workstreams and lead cross-functional teams to meet them.
• Partner with Engineering to ship resilient, scalable borrowing experiences with safety and reliability.
• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Finance to ensure regulatory alignment and strong customer experience.
• Build operational rigor with launch runbooks, on-call readiness, degraded-UI strategies, and incident playbooks.
