Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Product Manager to own the DeFi Borrow product area end-to-end, shaping a multi-year roadmap for crypto-backed loans and coordinating with Engineering, Risk, and Legal to ensure a secure customer experience. You will define OKRs, drive cross-functional delivery, and balance speed with reliability in a rapidly evolving crypto lending landscape.

The role emphasizes collaboration with on-chain protocols and a focus on scalable, compliant loan workflows across web and mobile

Qualifications

5+ years of PM experience shipping financial products at scale, including lending/credit.
Ability to define multi-quarter strategy and translate into roadmaps and experiments.
Familiarity with onchain concepts, smart contracts, DeFi lending protocols.
Proven use of funnels, cohort behavior and risk/return tradeoffs for decisions.
Uses generative AI responsibly with human oversight to improve workflows.

Responsibilities

Own DeFi Borrow end-to-end from vision to launch and iteration across web and mobile.
Drive multi-year roadmap for crypto-backed loans including refinance and new surfaces.
Define OKRs and lead cross-functional teams to deliver on them.
Partner with Engineering to ship scalable borrowing experiences with safety and reliability.
Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Finance to meet regulatory expectations while preserving UX.
Build launch runbooks, on-call readiness, degraded-UI strategies, and incident playbooks.
